About Chiba University

11の学部、18の大学院を有する総合大学です。人文科学・自然科学・医学・工学など幅広い分野で学ぶことができます。特に留学生が多い分野は「工学、園芸学、人文科学」です。 

This comprehensive university comprises 11 faculties and 18 graduate schools. Students can pursue studies across a wide range of fields, including humanities, natural sciences, medicine, and engineering.

The fields with the highest number of international students are “engineering, horticulture, and humanities.” 

ISD（International Support Desk）では、日常生活で困ったこと、在留手続きに関する相談などの窓口になり、留学生が安心して生活できるようサポートしています。 

留学生への日本語の支援も充実しています。8つのレベルに分かれた日本語授業を用意しています。 

International Support Desk (ISD) serves as a point of contact for issues encountered in daily life and consultations regarding residency procedures, supporting international students so they can live with peace of mind.

Comprehensive Japanese language support is also provided for international students. Japanese language classes are offered at eight distinct levels. 

東京都心部へは電車で40分～1時間ほどで、都心の文化やエンターテインメントに気軽に触れることができます。 自然が多くて落ち着いた雰囲気の国立大学です。

It takes about 40 minutes to an hour by train to reach central Tokyo, allowing easy access to the city's culture and entertainment. It is a national university with abundant nature and a calm atmosphere. Compared to Tokyo, monthly living cost in Chiba is more affordable.
